Andy Adamek

With over three decades of litigation-based and transactional legal experience, Attorney Andy Adamek employs a pragmatic, client-centered approach to legal problem-solving. He counsels landowners and developers in real estate transactions, land use and zoning, subdivision and partition actions. He offers employment counseling services to a wide spectrum of employers. Andy also provides general legal counsel and corporate governance services to hoa and condo owners associations, public housing authorities and development councils, as well as litigation services in defending fair housing and discrimination in housing, premises liability, and landlord/tenant disputes including evictions.

Andy’s real estate practice is focused on effectively tackling both routine and complex real estate disputes and transactions for developers, small and large landowners, farmers and ranchers. He has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate legal matters, including those involving leases, home and condo association services, construction and contractor agreements, land use and subdivision development, zoning, partitions, easements, and road and access disputes.

Employment Defense and Counseling

As an employment defense and counseling attorney, Andy advises businesses and their insurers on all facets of employment and workplace matters, from performance and disciplinary counseling to separation from employment to defending wrongful discharge suits. Andy has investigated and defended discrimination and harassment complaints and advised employers in grievance procedure compliance, and has defended numerous suits arising from employment practices liability coverages. Andy is known for delivering experience-based strategic guidance necessary to effectively and efficiently defend and resolve workplace disputes.

Public Housing and Landlord/Tenant Disputes

Andy serves as general counsel for the Helena Housing Authority and Rocky Mountain Development Council. He routinely assists other public housing entities in Montana. In this capacity, he provides a wide spectrum of general corporate counsel services involving low income and public housing redevelopment, fair housing matters, landlord/tenant law, and corporate governance.
