Mr. Adamek is seasoned with over two decades of litigation-based and transactional legal experience. He employs a pragmatic approach to legal problem solving, based upon establishing client/attorney trust and clear goal setting at the earliest stages of his representation. Mr. Adamek draws upon his professional capabilities and the various firm resources of BKBH to seek a timely, favorable and cost-efficient outcome for each of his clients.
Mr. Adamek has served as lead counsel or provided support to other BKBH lead attorneys in a variety of litigation, including workers’ compensation defense, wrongful discharge, discrimination in employment and housing, and failed real estate transactions. Mr. Adamek has served as general counsel for the Helena Housing Authority since 2008. In this capacity he has delivered a wide spectrum of general corporate counsel services involving redevelopment of low income and public housing, fair housing, landlord/tenant law, employment law counseling and corporate governance.
Both within his litigation and transactional practice, Mr. Adamek has developed extensive experience serving clients with commercial and residential real estate issues, leases, home and condo association services, construction and contractor agreements, land use and subdivision development, zoning, partition, easement, road and access controversies, and with real estate transactions.

Mr. Adamek hails from a California farming family and spent his young adult life in the Atlanta area. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University. Mr. Adamek then worked in Atlanta for five years focusing on workers’ compensation and premises liability defense including food poisoning and injury cases. He relocated to Helena in 1998 with his wife in pursuit of the Rocky Mountain lifestyle.
He joined BKBH in 1998. Mr. Adamek is married and has two children. He enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, cycling, retriever dog training and coaching and officiating soccer. He is a Helena Journey member. He works in the firm’s Helena office.
