Mr. Goe earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and received his law degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in 1980. He is a member of the Montana and California State Bars and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts, where he practices at the trial and
appellate levels. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Goe gained extensive trial experience practicing for five years as a deputy public defender for the County of Santa Clara, California. As one of the firm's principal trial lawyers, Mr. Goe's primary areas of practice include
litigation,
insurance defense,
labor law,
employment law,
employment litigation,
medical malpractice insurance defense and
workers' compensation defense. Mr. Goe also represents client interests before the
Montana Legislature focusing on workers' compensation and related employment issues.
